Welcome everyone to our class blog!
- Here you will be able to post your blog entries and make comments on your peers' blogs.
- The purpose of blogging is to give you the opportunity to share and express your thoughts and ideas without the worry of making spelling and grammar mistakes. Therefore, you will not be graded on your spelling and grammar but rather on the ideas and thoughts you present and how well they answer the day’s blog questions.
- Follow the rubric (see classroom notes). Blogs will be evaluated in Competency 3 (producing texts/writing) and are a significant part of the Learner Profile.
Some important rules to consider when posting your entries:
- Make sure you are signed-in with your Google account (@lbpearson.ca)
- Avoid long confusing sentences. Be clear with your ideas. Use short sentences.
- You need to reply to your peers’ blog entries but remember to be respectful, polite, and considerate; any form of disrespect, bullying, threatening and/or taunting will be taken extremely seriously and addressed with administration.
- Blogging is a great way to get your message out to the class/teacher. Don't lose the privilege of being a successful student blogger.
- Have fun! Don’t be shy to disagree or challenge ideas!

ReplyDeleteThere has been manny times of when I have been impressed by things, but the most impressive thing that I have seen is when I went to Quebec and i went to a show on the streets and it was a mexican guy that was doing all these amazing tricks and flips. He was doing front flips back flips he was hula hooping with a huge ring and flipping around the ground. It was really impressive !
ReplyDeletehe must have had a lot of practice to do a back flip. I can't even do a front flip of the wall and I think that is easier then a front flip on the ground like that.
DeleteToni Kroos is a soccer player who plays for the German national team. In the Germany vs Sweden FIFA 2018 game I was just so impressed with him it blew my mind. The game looked like it would be a 0-0 tie but 5 minutes before halftime Sweden put in their first goal. The goalie was just to far away from the goal line he did not have enough time to stop the ball. Sweden kept the score 1:0 while hoping to win with this score. After halftime Germany finally gets their first goal. The game is still not over. Both teams really try to get the second goal but Germany needs it more than Sweden because Germany lost their first game unlike Sweden who won. It was 95 minutes into the game Germany gets a free kick but Toni Kroos did not like the angel. He asked someone to get close so that he could pass it to them so they could stop the ball and have it at a beater angle so he could shoot the winning goal. I was so impressed by the final goal on how Toni Kroos he analysed the the angle of the shot and he asked for help to get that ball in the net.
ReplyDeleteCool nice Blog :)

ReplyDeleteHow I was impressed by someone

I was impressed by someone in my life. He’s a pro gamer like me! He likes to play a game called csgo. There are tournaments for csgo. The pro gamer’s name is KennyS, KennyS is one of the best csgo players in the world! Kenny’s favorite weapon in the game is the AWP. It’s a one-shot sniper rifle, this is when I was impressed by Kenny. Someone was coming after him and he couldn’t see him, when Kenny was being shot at he had the best flick/reaction timing, he broke his wrist to do it. He was vac banned from the game for “Hacking”. What vac ban means is that you get banned for a much longer amount of time than a regular ban amount of time on your account, from weeks to months and to years or permanently banned. This is how i was impressed by KennyS.
Last year I go an award for hockey tournament I got M.V.P. I was so proud of myself because I worked really hard for hockey and it didn’t go to waste, when i got M.V.P I was so happy I told everyone in my family about it. The i celebrated about it getting myself a treat, an ice cream from DQ. I always put 110% in all my hockey games, if I didn’t always put 110% in all my game I was never going to be announced M.V.P. This is why you always need to try your hardest and it will payoff.
ReplyDeletewow thats really cool you must love hockey
DeleteThis year I tried out for a regional soccer team (lac St-Louis) . There were more more than 20 tryouts throughout the year. They started with 200 girls and ended with 16. I was apart of those 16 players. It was really fun, I met a lot of good soccer players. At the end of the summer, I competed in a tournament called Québec Games (Thetford mines). What i'm really proud of is that I made it really far and i’m one the best players in the West Island. It was a really good experience and I will never forget it.
ReplyDeleteI have never won a metal or first place and honestly i'm fine never winning anything to tell me i did a good job because if i but a lot of energy into it it's going to be gearat. Even if i don't win anything i still enjoy watching others win and seeing how happy there are because i don't need to win anything to no i'm a winner in my heart.
