I DONT REALLy no much about these cameras but I know there for catching people that are stealing ,hurting abusing and more but I think the cops take advantage of the cameras and use it and they start hurting people

DeleteI think that putting cameras on police is a great idea because if they do, do that they will know if the person actually did something wrong. they could also know if the police officer was hurting him/her too much. and the people watching the tape will know if they are abusing their power or not. and they could know if the cop is being racist toward another race and only stopping or pulling them over because of the colour of their skin or religion.

DeleteI think all police should wear body cameras even the good ones. Just in case if they get aggressive or take out their gun out. It’s a good idea because they will be able to use a video against them. If the bad guy did something wrong but he denied everything, they police will have everything on camera. It’s really good idea, the should apply that rule

DeleteI think that police should wear body cameras because its proof of any crime. For example if a police officer says in court that he saw someone break the law its good but it's better if there's proof like the recording from his camera. It's also good because if the police officer says that he saw someone break the law but that person actually didn't there's proof.
ReplyDeleteI think that the police should have body camera on them. The police should respect the lays and do their job correctly. They should not have to ware body camera to prove that they don’t take advantage of their status of police by being aggressive. The police could also use that camera against the person that is being arrested because if they do something rude to the police it can be proved.

DeleteI think police officers should wear body cameras for 3 reasons, 1 police are often falsely accused of police brutality.By using body cameras this will provide the courts with the true story as to what really happened on the scene.Second, it will calm down the suspect because they know they are being filmed.Finally it will also insure that the police officers do not abuse their authority while arresting their suspects.

DeleteI think police officers should wear body cameras for a few reasons. One they often take advantage of their powers of people that are different in other ways such as skin color, looks, etc. Two they are very aggressive to people. Three they will be cautious about their behavior if they have the cameras rolling. I think this will change a lot if this decision will be allowed.

ReplyDeleteI think the police should wear cameras because if they catch someone who seems to have done something bad they could check the footage they have recorded and see if they actually did something wrong but also they could take advantages of their power of people that are different like race, looks, etc. They could also be very aggressive towards people and have anything said against them because they are police.
ReplyDeleteI think they should wear body cameras because they are pulling people over no reason which some because there are brown or because they have an expensive car.some kids that are 14 get body slammed cops by cops and they are sent to the hospital. the police also just give tickets just so they can make money and they also just hate brown people sometimes.

ReplyDeleteI think they really should because they somtimes really over use their power. No human should have the right to attack someone for doing somthing not good and they know it. But it could be really bad since they wont get any privacy even in the bath room probably. So I sill think they should but there can be huge consequences.
ReplyDeleteYes i think that they should have to wear cameras on the body while working because let's say a cop hurts someone or does something bad there's no other way of finding out if they did that and if they had cameras on them a person can make a complaint and there will be actual proof of it happening or not
ReplyDeletei really think that cops should have body cameras while they are working but not just for proof that someone committed a crime but to see if they are being too aggressive with people, then when the cops get busted for being way too aggressive hopefully they will have a "little" chat with their bosses and get fired
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with this so that the cops can get in trouble for how aggressive they are being with some people and it will also be protection for the cop if the other person is being aggressive towards them and can be used as proof. I also think some cops think they are entitled to beat someone up for no reason because they are a cop.

DeleteI don't know a lot about body cameras and what they do, but there are a lot of stories of police officers abusing their powers, they don't respect the law they do whatever they want and get away with it. But if there were body camaras they wouldn't get away with it. Also at the same time it's kind of a wast of money to get those few cops who don't respect the law. In my opinion they shouldn't have to use body cams.
ReplyDeleteI think police do take advantage of their powers. They don’t need to wear body cameras that juts a bit over the top. Police should only be aggressive if harmed. Police take advantage because they think since there in power of arresting people they go harder on people. The cameras on their uniform is just a little weird, they do not need to record people they should only record if it’s someone there going after that won’t stop. Otherwise police do take advantage.
