One of the times I was at a gymnastics competition we were doing the awards and I won 1st place on beam and vault and 5th place all around! At the same competition I got 2 trophy's and a medal! I was so happy when I got home from that competition, I always get a little bit nervous when we do the awards at the end of the competition!
During the summer I do synchro competitions. And 2 summers ago my team got first, I felt like I was going to faint when they said Windermere (my pool). There was this little peuse of silence because everyone was in shock then out of nowhere there was these screams from the girls on my team which sounded more like a faint whisper to my because I was still shocked. Then the whole crowd was screaming and we were being pushed onto the podium. It all happened so fast it seemed like one second they were announcing the team in the 20 then we were being awarded first place medals. By that time I was sreaming as well, and all are parents were crowding around us like paperasty just to take a picture of us. From that day forward I am still extatique about the medal.
I have won several things in the past but the thing that I was the most happy about was when I was in track and field, an event for some elementary schools and at that event I got first place in the 400 meter run. In that run I represented Margaret Manson my elementary school, After the run I was so happy all my friends were super proud of me !
I've won medals in so many things but this year I was playing in the regionals for baseball witch is pretty much every team in the region of Montréal play against each other. The were eight teams to start and to move on you had to beat two out of the eight teams and once you win that you make it to the semi finals were there's only four teams. After that it's the finals were the two best teams in Montréal compete against each other witch we made it to it was probably the hardest game of our season the second inning I scored one point and it stayed like that up until the fifth inning and that's where the other team scored three points and we ended up getting silver but I was still thrilled and surprised because that means that our team is the second best team of Montréal.
This year I was on the dollard soccer team that won gold last year but there was a lot of players from that team that went to A. So we were not great but we were better than a lot of teams from last year. We did not have a goalie for most of the year but then I stepped up because I like it and I want to play the hole time of the game. Then we were winning almost all are games. We got to the semifinals and we were against my friend’s team. We have never beaten them but this time we beat in penalty shots. We won to go to the gold medal game. There we were against a team that we have beaten but also lost to them. In that game they got three goals but we got five goals but both teams were very strong. They had two players that are better than anyone but we had a lot of good players and at the end we came out on top after over time.
One time I was very proud of myself was when, 2 years ago in a Granby Soccer Tournament, my team (Lakeshore) played many teams and won 5 games and tied 1. They were all very hard teams but after all our games we made it to the finals. It was very intense but it came to the last few minutes and then the referee blew the whistle 3 times and that means that the game was over but the score was still tied 0-0. First there was 5 minutes of overtime and then another 5 minutes then there was 15 seconds left and I’m pretty sure that no one likes penalty shots. Well I definitely HATE IT anyway last 15 seconds there was a corner kick it rebounded of the goalie on to my head and somehow I scored. Everyone was cheering and screaming and I felt very proud of myself at that moment
In my last blog I explained a video game I play called Team Fortress 2 (TF2), If you’d like to know more about that you can check out my other blog. This blog will talk about a competitive game mode called 6s (6 versus 6) there are plenty of competitive game modes such as Highlander (9 vs. 9), Prolander (7 vs. 7)... I will be talking about 6s today, 6s is a 6 versus 6 game mode but this is competitive so VERY good players play. 6s is a basic format 2 Scouts (clean up all the damage done to players) 1 Demoman (main damage dealer) 2 Soldiers (damage dealer / clean up) and 1 Medic (healer). There is only 1 map style CP (Control Points) there are 5 Control Points 2 on each side and 1 in the middle every match is 30 minutes and can go in to Golden Cap (Overtime) games go to 5 rounds and every round takes 1 minute and 30 seconds. One day my friends and I we’re playing a PUG (Pick Up Game) and we played this really good team it was 20 minutes in to the game and we were down a rounds we started getting scared then I got a 6 killstreak (killing everyone on the enemy team) I won the round for my team we went in to Golden Cap then we ended up winning the match. My friends friends even the other team were all saying I won the game for my team I was so proud of myself. That’s gonna be the end of this blog I hope you learnt a lot about 6s.
I was proud of myself when my team of water polo finish first place. It was this year and it was against a team that won two ore tree year in a row. It was a very good team and I still did a goal. It was also the first time in at lees ten year that the pool won first place. It was a great game that we won six to four
blog 2. I won a swimming competition, I got first place ribbon I felt happy and sad. I felt happy because a just won a first place ribbon like that is so cool but a felt sad because I was SWIMMING ALONE!!!!! Like that is so embarrassing omg. But I felt good because my mom and sister were there cheering me on and a that moment I felt like a winner. And I was only 8 years old and that was my story.
I was proud of not only myself but my whole team when we won gold in the west island outdoor basketball league (WIOBL). We had 4 teams in total so out of those 6 teams our team won, the 4 teams were called “Lightning, Suns, Clouds, Moons” I was on the Moons. We were a pretty short league. Unfortunately for me I didn’t score any baskets but I supposedly played amazing defense at least I was told that. It was a really close game and the final score was 15-14. And the worst part was that, I was so sick that day.
A competition that I won and I was very proud of myself was when I won the knock out cup finals in soccer. It was against the best team in the league I thought we would loose but our team had a strong defense and we got 2 goals. And in the semi finals I scored the winning goal to get us in the finals! Now our team is in the regionals hopefully we could win that too!
I was proud of myself winning an art competition. My drawing was a little rushed and not coloured and I still won! I remember not to give up on that drawing learnt new styles of drawing and also tried shading. I was quite nervous when they announced the winners I thought I was going to lose but I won first place and it was remarkable! (I won 800 robux hahaha) That’s the end of my short blog :)
I was once proud for winning the first game of basketball. That time was my first time playing on an actual team and we won. I was so excited and proud that my team won. As I was playing I started getting confused and distracted on how to play. So I told myself to concentrate and focus on the ball and the game. So I did and scored my first basket of my first game I was so proud.
I remember when it was my first year for competitive swimming last year. I was so scared for my first competition in Brossard. I remember it like yesterday. I got up on the block to swim my 50 fly ( 50m butterfly ) as soon as I heard the buzzer go I didn’t care about anything. I was doing my own thing. I knew the rules to not get disqualified. I swam as fast as I could and next thing I know that I am the outside sprinter (on the side of the pool way ahead of the others) I hit the walk so hard and looked at the bored to see my time. It was so good then. Know it’s rly slow but my first time winning in a heat of my competition. Doesn’t matter if I didn’t get any medal but it made me feel good. And to this day I work my hardest everyday from one hour and a half to two hours with yoga and dryland just so I can do what I love most and be motavated. All I can say is when you win something even the smallest it’s the best feeling. Makes you feel good and confident in yourself
One of the things I am proud of is when I went to track and field in grade 5 and got a 1st place ribbon for the 100 meter dash. I was proud of myself because it was my first time going to track and field and getting a first place ribbon for running. That was when I knew I wanted to go back to track and field next year.
Last year I got an award for a hockey tournament I got the M.V.P. award. I was really proud of myself because I always worked hard for hockey and it never goes to waste, when i got M.V.P I was really happy for myself, I told everyone in my family about it, they were proud of me. Then I celebrated, getting myself an ice cream. I always put 110% in all my hockey games, if I didn’t always put 110% in my games I was going to never get to be announced M.V.P. This is why you always need to try your hardest everyday and every time and it always will payoff.
I was proud one time when are team won a hockey tournament in boston and I was player of the game I scored a couple goals in that tournament we all worked hard for the champion chip and we where all proud of are self for winning the tournament. Are team was not the best but the hardest workers every game we might not win but we will still try.
