Cannabis (marijuana) is now legal across Canada.

My concers are the kids/teeneger, they are so stupid they will buy anything just to be cool. It's good that marijuana is legal in canada because are stupid like i said. Its ok if its medical attention. When you have cancer there is a oil, a marijuana oil that help sick people(cancer). Marijuana should not be legal unless its medical attention.
Now I think theres going to be less drug dealers and a lot of people will be of the streets because they can sell it and make money.But a lot of teenagers and even some kids are going to be using it and some will die from it .But know more people are going to be high and more are going to stop smoking and smoke marijuana .But its also good if you have medical problems.

ReplyDeleteI really don’t think legalizing marijuana is such a good idea because the teens and adults who drink could do even more stupid things. I’m just worried somebody will be too drunk to and hurt one of the people I care about ( I know i’m over reacting a little bit but it’s happened before). Of course I don’t think good for Canadians why couldn’t we just leave it illegal to have marijuana?

Deletei dont think legalizing marijuana is good for canadians because even if its not as bad as smoking a cigarette(in health wise)it can still cause yourself and others to receive really bad sicknesses and cancer especially kids and their tiny little hearts and lungs.

DeleteTo be honest, I think legalizing marijuana was a really bad idea because there are very dumb teens, adults and maybe even kids who suffer from taking marijuana.They have made a very big mistake of making this drug now legal in canada.It definitely shouldn't be because it can cause brain damage,driving accidents and many other very bad things.
ReplyDeleteI definitely think it was a bad idea to legalize Marijuana because now it is more accessible to kids and teenagers who do stupid things to look “cool”! And Marijuana is not good for you no matter how old or who you are. think it is okay to use Marijuana ONLY if it's for medical reasons, but other than that I do not think it should be legalized.

DeleteI think that legalizing Marijuana has good and bad points, the good side is that the government can use the money for marijuana sales and taxes to help improve the education and health care systems, the bad point is that, it may increase the amount of people who drive their cars intoxicated

The only concern I have is that I have with the legalization of marijuana is that there will be people using it everywhere. Kids would smell it and it is not the best for your health. But there are people that marijuana is good for them. Marijuana is good for certain people’s health and they need to do marijuana so they can live. In my opinion there will be a big number rise in us of marijuana and more then half the people don’t need it.

DeleteI think that marijuana should not be legal because if you think about all the people who sell marijuana wont have a source of income and that leads to other bad things that they will do. So yeah that's going to be a problem and the fact that marijuana is a really bad thing to smoke and now that it's legal everyone will start marijuana plantation.

DeleteMy opinion on marijuana being legalised is that its not that bad, because a long time ago the same thing happened with alcohol, alcohol used to be illegal but since everyone was drinking it anyway they decided to legalise it so that they can also make more money from tax. and marijuana is the same thing, but you still have to be responsible and old enough.

DeleteFirstly, marijuana is a drug so it’s not a good thing, but they did make it legal to help people out that need it. Most people already know the consequences and the laws are very strict so I don’t think a lot of people will still try it. In my opinion I think they should raise the legal age a little bit because even though they are adults they are not to mature
ReplyDeleteI only have one concern about the legalization of marijuana it's that I find with so many people having it with them and smoking it in the public that were all going to smell it no matter where we are. I think it's going to be a good thing for Canadians because it may be a drug but doctors sometimes give a prescription to the patience because it helps with any kind of pains that you have.
ReplyDeleteMy concerns is that more and more people will start taking cannabis and won’t stop. Then they will smoke everywhere and this will definitely be a problem. People will also get cancer and maybe they will die. Kids could also buy some somewhere and they would start smoking. It would be very bad for their health. I think legalisation of cannabis will by rely bad for Canadians.

DeleteI have many concerns, for one I can’t even believe that people would really make such a diseging I thought canada was supposed to be the good country. Why do we need to have these things anyway if it’s already caused so much trouble. I just feel like something bad is going to happen. I mean I believe that the people who buy these things will be responsible but still. I feel like this change won’t be bad for canadiens but I don’t think this will be good for canadiens either. I just feel like where there's a good thing there's a bad thing. So this might bring more bad things than good but for some people this is a good change I don’t know why it would be though.

ReplyDeleteYes because there are alway people that will sell it illegally which is a hazard because there is always a way you can get it in the wrong hands and get you in jail and end up in an under age childs hands and have a bad consequences.

DeleteI think legalizing marijuana was a good decision and a bad decision. It was a good decision, because only the people with a doctors note saying they should do it to take away pain are aloud to buy it. it is a bad decision for two reasons. 1. the government is making a lot more money on taxes and yet he still increases are taxes every year!!!! 2. People can fake a doctors note and just buy it, and peer pressure people, because some peoples parents could just buy it and also give into their kids!!

Teenagers will just buy it to be cool and to show off but its really bad for you unless its for a medical condition, but that's the other thing that's good about how they are going to legalize marijuana.
