Blog 49 - Wednesday, April 24, 2019

The book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll shows Alice being treated differently because she is just a young girl. Discuss a time where you were maybe treated unfairly because you are "just a kid".

  1. I don't remember much from when i was younger, all i remember was, one time in Florida when I was 6 years old, someone pushed into me and said ‘’get out of the way kid’’, after I was so mad, thankfully my mom confronted him and he said sorry.

  2. I don't fully remember my childhood but here's what I do remember that one time I was on vacation with my family and we decided to go out for ice cream but I wanted too scoops on my cone because that's what all the adults got but when I asked my parents, they said no because “I am a kid”.

  3. one Time that happened to me and that was when I was a younger kid at a restaurant and I was in line gonna get my order but this like 20 year old cut right in front of me, I did not say anything because I did not know what to say and I thought he would punch me or something because I did not know any better because I was a kid and I bet that’s what he knew in his head.

I always get treated like a kid (always) when i am party with my family and i am listening to a conversation and then they tell me that “this a adult conversation go play with the kids”. And it alway un fear. I wanted to feel like a adult.

  6. One time I was treated unfairly was when i went to laronde last year. There was a kid behind me and he told me that I looked like a 3 years old and that i should get out of the line. But the slide thing i wanted to go on was only for my age so since i was 12 i was aloud to go on it. and he wasnt because he was to old.

  9. I don’t really remember anything persay. I know that there were times when i couldn't do things because i was just a kid. I’m not really sure what to say because a lot of stuff is just hazy memories that don’t make sense. So I don't have a good memory of one of those times. It’s really not clear but I know that I really hate when people tell you you can’t do things, just because your a kid.

was when I was playing a game and in the game there is voice chat to talk with your teammates. And someone on my team was being very toxic and calling me names and making fun of me and calling we a squeaker as in a little kid who cries but I was being friendly to him.
