There is a project in the works with the goal of bringing Major League Baseball back to Montreal.
Do you think baseball should come back to Montreal? Would this project be successful?
If baseball came back to Montreal, would you attend a game? Explain.
I DONt think it would be successful because people in Montreal attended more hockey games then then baseball and canadiens have a good stadium and good players but for the expos not really anyone like them because they had to shut down because there was not enough people attending the games. And I like hockey more because it's my favourite sport and it's not boring to watch like baseball.

DeleteI think that they should not make a Montreal team because probably nobody would go to the games anyway and to be honest I rlly don’t like baseball. But they should try to do the project anyway because other people like baseball.

DeleteIn my opinion if the expos came back wouldn't really be a success. The reason for is because montreal is a hockey city. Everyone would be at the Bell Centre. The other reason is that the expos most likely wouldn't do so well. If I had the chance to go to an expos game I would never back down because it would be the first time for me at a baseball game. But if I had to choose between going to the expos game or the habs game it would 100% be the habs game.

ReplyDeleteI really dont think that it is worth it to make a baseball team. Baseball is one of the worst sports. I really dont understand why people can sit in one seat for 3 hours just watching someone hitting a ball and hopping someone does not catch it. So I think it would be a wast of money if this guy invested alot of money into this sports team.

DeleteBaseball should come back to Montreal for the people that like watching it, so that they can have something they like to watch. But it wouldn't be that successful because people here are more interested in hockey not baseball. I would not attend a baseball game because i find watching baseball boring. I wouldn't waste my money on something that i wouldn't want to watch.
ReplyDeleteMontreal has a chance to have a baseball team.Because Baseball is now more popular than it was back then because hockey was the most popular game and hockey was played at the bell center so it was easy to access.the olympic stadium isnt easy to access because it was not really in downtown and it didn't have any restaurants or like stores near it like the bell center which had all of those.There is a chance now since there might be a chance since there gonna build it somewhere else they said it's gonna be easier to access.so this my opinion so i think they will have a Baseball team soon.

DeleteI think Montreal does have the chance to do well with a baseball team because the last baseball place was so out of the way and too hard to get to. and there is so many people that go to the bell center for hockey games because it is right in the middle of down town. I think it will also work because there are so many blue jays fans that if we made a team they would like our team more because its our home town

DeleteI think baseball should come back to Montreal because i kinda sucks if your really good at it but you don’t have a team to play for or support especially there is only one canadian team in the MLB. I think this project could be successful at the start but in a couple of years no one will watch the games. I would go to maybe one game to support them but I fing baseball games really long.
ReplyDeleteI don't think baseball should come back because they say there is room to make another stadium but only after they will probably realise that it was a bad decision because people won't be able to get there. Already people have trouble getting places then with that there will be even more traffic. I've been to 2 baseball games and they are extremely long.This project will not be successful and i would probably not attend a game because i'd probably have better things to do.

DeleteI think that baseball should come back to montreal because i like baseball and i think it would be nice to be able to watch a game here instead of going to toronto. I think it would be successful because there is still a lot of expo fans and i think that they would go to most of the games. And if they came back to montreal i would probably go see a game because i like to watch baseball game.

If there was fans then there will probably be fans know so the project would probably be successful. I would probably not go to a game because I am not really interested baseball but I think it would be fun just to go at one game to live the experience of being at a baseball game.

It could be a good idea but it might also be a terrible idea... I would personally never attend a game because I am not interested

DeleteI really like baseball, really I play softball but same thing. I think that baseball should come back, (just going to add this in here, I hope that it will allow girls to play!!!!). I feel like it would be very successful.(Really successful if girls were allowed to play, no seriously I really think they would be able to get a team together if there were girls).I would for sure go to a game if baseball came back, that would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think it would be very successful because in Montreal, we are more into hockey than baseball and not many people care about it. If it’s in downtown, it would be pretty difficult to get there because of the rush, and if it’s where it was last time than no one would come because it’s so far. I don’t really like baseball so no I would not attend a game and also because it has been a long time since any Montreal person has played professionally so we would probably lose.

ReplyDeleteI am not really a fan of Baseball, but I guess it’s a good thing that may be the Montréal’s may come back as a baseball team. My honest opinion I don’t really care but I think it’s a good thing that they’re back. If baseball came back I wouldn’t go to the games not really interested in baseball but I do think that the projects will have success. Like I said I don’t really care. But if they do play hope they win.

DeleteI don’t really enjoy baseball, I’m good with either or, stay or leave for good. But I do like the Toronto blue jays they are good players. But baseball never appealed to me . I think baseball should come but we already have hockey so no one will really be attention to baseball as much as hockey.
